1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember things between visits. Modern browsers also have equivalent technologies (local storage, session storage) and we treat all of these the same way in this policy.
2. How we use them
We split cookies into two groups:
- Strictly necessary: the site doesn't work without them. Things like remembering you're signed in, keeping items in your basket, processing your payment. These run on every visit.
- Optional: cookies we'd like to set but only if you agree. Analytics that help us see what works and what doesn't; marketing pixels (if and when we add any). None of these run until you click “Accept”.

4. Change your mind
You can change your cookie choices any time.
5. Browser controls
All modern browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break the site (you won't be able to sign in or check out). Blocking optional cookies is always fine.
